Corporate Challenge
This is where Silicon Valley’s companies go head-to-head in the spirit of friendly competition. Ultrarunner Dean Karnazes would personally like to invite you and your company to participate in the only competition of its kind and will again be rewarding winners of this exciting event with signed gear and company appearances!
Entry: For a team to officially qualify for entry into the Corporate Challenge, at least five (5) runners must sign-up for any combination of the Marathon, Half-Marathon, and 5K Run/Walk races.
Prizes will be awarded in two (2) categories: Speed and Size.
Size: The Company entering the most runners in the Corporate Challenge (all events) will receive a private visit and book signing by Dean Karnazes at their company headquarters, and will be recognized in the post-event press release.
Speed: To qualify, a company must enter at least three (3) runners in the Half-Marathon race. The times of the fastest three (3) Half-Marathon runners from each company (male and female divisions) will be added, and the team with the lowest cumulative total will be declared the “Fastest Company in Silicon Valley!”
***In addition, all winners will receive an exclusive training package including signed copies of Karnazes’ inspirational books and great packages from numerous sponsors including Amtrak, Sports Basement, and more to come.
